Good modeling digitals (also called polaroids) must include a close-up headshot, a profile shot, and a full-body shot.

They require natural lighting, no heavy filters or makeup, and form-fitting clothes, such as a plain tank top and jeans.

Essential Photo Types

Close-up headshot: Face forward with a neutral look or soft smile, hair down, and zero skin retouching.
Profile shot: Turn sideways so the agent can see your jawline and bone structure clearly.
Three-quarter shot: Stand turned slightly sideways from the camera to show your frame and proportions.
Full-body shot: Stand straight facing the camera with arms slightly away from your body so your shape is fully visible.

Rules for Clothing and Styling

Attire: Plain fitted black or white tank top, simple blue or black denim jeans, and simple heels for women or barefoot/sneakers for men. No heavy logos or baggy items.
Hair and Makeup: Wear no makeup or a bare-faced "no-makeup" look. Wear your hair down in its natural texture, with maybe one extra option tied back.
Lighting and Background: Stand outside on an overcast day or indoors facing a large bright window against a plain solid wall. Avoid harsh shadows or direct flash.
Editing: Send raw, unedited phone photos. Do not smooth skin, change colors, or use filters.
